Southeastern Art Show & Market
In 2005, the Chickasaw Annual Meeting and Festival saw the beginning of what is now a time-honored tradition with the first Southeastern Art Show and Market (SEASAM) competition, show and market. SEASAM continues to be committed to providing professional development and networking opportunities for emerging and professional Southeastern and Woodland artists, both youth and adults. SEASAM fosters cultural identity through fine art in contemporary and traditional styles, and provides a market place where artists may flourish.
SEASAM offers an annual juried competition with outstanding awards and a welcoming market where artists can display and sell their fine art. Show attendees gain a greater awareness and appreciation for Southeastern First American culture and cultural identity through the fine art showcased.
